Allis is VP, Global Sales and Merchant Development at 1stdibs.com, where she oversees the Sales, Merchandising, International Expansion and Ad Sales businesses. Allis has extensive experience in cross border and international ecommerce having lived and worked in the US, Europe, Singapore and Tokyo. Prior to 1stdibs, Allis spent 7 years at eBay in a number of US and international roles. Allis first joined eBay in 2004 where she led the Health & Beauty category in the U.S. before relocating to Singapore. As head of eBay's Southeast Asia's business, Allis was responsible for turning around the business to double digit growth. Allis then went on to lead eBay's APAC exports business based out of Tokyo, Japan. Prior to eBay, Allis was a brand manager at Revlon and L’Oreal, where she led the development, launch and marketing of some of the largest beauty brands in the USA. Allis first started her career at Goldman, Sachs & Co. in NYC. She is a Fulbright Scholar and has an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business and a BS from Carnegie Mellon in Industrial Management and Economics with a minor in Information Systems.
