Alvin is the Head of Mobile for Google China based out of Shanghai. He oversees the entire mobile Ad Sales businesses for China, Hong Kong & Taiwan. Alvin has extensive experience in cross border and international technology sector having worked more than 18 years in the Asia Pacific region. Prior to Google, Alvin had taken up senior roles at Velti Inc, Nokia and Madhouse with mobile advertising as a main focus.

Before relocating to China, Alvin was the CEO of VCN, a technology company he co-founded in 1997 and successfully exited in 2005. VCN was one of the largest provider in enterprise VOIP and satellite broadband in Malaysia.

Alvin is a lawyer by profession having received its law degree from Brunel University.
