Brian Kang is Founder & CEO of Pangalore, a mobile social RPG game development company, which is funded by NHN Investment and Hyundai Technology Investment. Previously, he was CEO of Gravity (NASDAQ: GRVY), a Korean online gaming company. Under his management, the company maintained three consecutive years of operating profit and increased net profit from KRW .9 billion to KRW 4.1 billion. Brian also led the acquisition of another Korean game company.

Prior to Gravity, Brian has had a long distinguished career in Korea’s venture capital industry. He was Managing Director of the Korea Venture Fund, a $50 million fund sponsored by the Korean Government, State Street Global Advisors (U.S.) and Vertex Management (Singapore). He was a Senior Manager at Samsung Venture Investment Corporation on the Telecommunications & Internet Content Team, and he started his career at Samsung Electronics in their Information & Communications Division as Manager of the Strategy & Business Development Group.
