David Lee is the Co-founder of Refactor Capital, a venture capital firm focused on investing in the healthcare industry. Prior to founding Refactor Capital, he was the founder and managing partner of SV Angel, which invested in prominent companies such as Twitter, Pinterest, Dropbox, Airbnb, Product Hunt, and Snapchat. Before that, he worked at Baseline Ventures, known as a leading seed investment firm. He was an early member of Google's new business development team and led the business development division at StumbleUpon until the company was sold to eBay. He is also a corporate attorney at a technology law firm.

David Lee served as a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow at Stanford University, where he completed a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, received a JD from New York University, and a BA from Johns Hopkins University. He currently serves as a board member of the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children's Health, a medical foundation for children's health. In 2011, Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz named David Lee as one of the "7 Most Influential People in Technology." Business Insider also selected him as a "Hidden Power Broker in Silicon Valley," and he has had the honor of being selected twice for the Silicon Valley 100.
