John Lee has managed investment portfolios for Major League Baseball since 2007. He is currently responsible for public markets, alternative investments, private equity, and venture strategy. His primary interests are emerging media, entertainment, and sports-related companies. Before joining MLB, he worked at a $7 billion private investment institution that invests in various asset classes worldwide using the endowment model.
He has also served as a policy advisor at various government agencies. He began his career as an early member of the world's largest online trading company. He currently works across multiple cities including San Francisco and New York. He holds a bachelor's degree from Stanford University.
