Joyce Kim is the Co-founder and CEO of simplehoney, a search platform company that makes it easy to search for popular hotels. She also served as CEO of Soompi, a pop-up entertainment fan site covering video content including Asian dramas, music, and films. Prior to this, Joyce Kim learned practical corporate law applications at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr and worked as an attorney at Shearman & Sterling's New York office.

Joyce completed her high school education in one year, graduated from Cornell University at age 19, and received a Master's degree in East Asian Regional Studies from Harvard University and a JD from Columbia University Law School. She previously lived in New York and currently resides in San Francisco, California.
