Korea's fastest-growing shared office with the highest customer recommendation score

Sparkplus is a shared office company established with the goal of quickly and easily solving office-related problems for all businesses, freeing them to focus on their core work.  Starting with its first location at the Yeoksam Aju Building in November 2016, the company opened 34 locations across Seoul and Gyeonggi by the end of 2022, and has since added the Bundang 3rd Location and the COEX location (opening soon) — currently operating a total of 36 locations. The leased area of 125,200㎡ is equivalent to approximately 17.5 international standard soccer fields (7,140㎡ each).

Sparkplus' revenue has grown at a steady average of 200% per year since its founding — and grew 13-fold over the five years from 2018 to 2022, successfully turning profitable in 2022. The foundation of this growth lies in the company's agility in responding to market changes and user demand. Sparkplus was the first in the industry to introduce custom offices — allowing clients to use shared office space as if it were their own headquarters — in 2017, and operated a contactless QR visitor management system even before COVID-19. As remote work expanded in the post-COVID era and work styles diversified, the company opened hub offices in key residential centers. In July 2022, Sparkplus also launched the 'SP Workspace' application, based on a QR code-issued 'mobile key card.' The app consolidates all office space-related features into a single interface, enhancing user convenience.

Following its KRW 20 billion Series A investment in 2018, Sparkplus raised KRW 30 billion in Series B investment just one year later in 2019 from Aju Hotels & Resorts, Koramco Asset Management, STIC Ventures, and Intervest. In 2021, it secured strategic investment from SK Telecom and Mirae Asset Group.
