WhaTap Labs

Data Analytics
Korea's No. 1 SaaS-based monitoring service

WhaTap Labs is Korea's first SaaS-based integrated IT monitoring service company, with over 1,000 client companies — the largest number in the domestic market.

WhaTap Labs' monitoring service 'WhaTap' collects and analyzes server, application, and container status and performance data in real time, down to the second. It provides fault monitoring and alert features, enabling service managers to check cloud performance in real time. As COVID-19 accelerated digital transformation and the migration of IT infrastructure to the cloud, demand for monitoring services increased dramatically.

WhaTap Labs has operated on a SaaS model from its inception. By targeting not only enterprises but also small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the monitoring analytics market, it has steadily grown its market share. It stands as the only Korean monitoring company capable of competing with global players like Datadog and New Relic.

Recognized for its outstanding technology, WhaTap Labs has raised cumulative investments of KRW 18.3 billion from Altos Ventures, Kakao Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, KB Investment, and others. After its founding in 2015, the company turned profitable in 2020 and has since recorded annual average revenue growth of 80% for three consecutive years.
