Chan Ho Park is Korea's first Major League Baseball player and a global Korean baseball star who holds the record for most wins by an Asian pitcher. After making his big league debut with the LA Dodgers in 1994, he achieved 100 wins in Major League Baseball in 2005, participated in the All-Star Game in 2010, and recorded a total of 124 career MLB wins that year, earning various nicknames such as 'Korean Express', 'Living Legend of Baseball', and 'Chopper'. Until 2010, he played as a major leaguer receiving love calls from various teams including the LA Dodgers, Texas Rangers, and New York Yankees, and set a record of achieving starting wins in Korean Professional Baseball, Japanese Professional Baseball, Major League Baseball, and Minor League Baseball.
Since 1997, Chan Ho Park has operated the 'Chan Ho Park Scholarship Foundation' to nurture youth baseball talent and has also promoted support programs for children from single-parent families. Even after retirement, he has continuously engaged in various lectures, talk concerts, and mentoring activities both domestically and internationally, consistently participating in talent donations and social contribution activities for youth and young adults.
Recently, leveraging his experience as Korea's first Major League Baseball player who paved the way for junior players' global growth, he joined SparkLabs, a global accelerator, as a Venture Partner to support startups aiming for global expansion.
