Andrew (Yeon Jin) Chu is an online product manager at Home Depot USA responsible in the areas of Product Recommendations, Personalization, API as well as the Browse pages (Global Header Footer / Homepage / Category pages). He received his undergrad computer science degree at Pohang University of Science and Engineering (POSTECH) and master's degree in eBusiness IT at Carnegie Mellon.

He started his entrepreneurial career while still studying at POSTECH as a co-founder of IvyConnection, an educational consulting firm with online platform. After graduating from Carnegie Mellon, he joined TmaxSoft and helped close its first Fortune 500 contract in enterprise middleware.

Having passion for eCommerce and B2C, he then joined and co-founded Canari Noir, a luxury online eCommerce site which later was sold, then joined Zappos.com, a multi-billion online shoes and fashion eCommerce site that was acquired by Amazon in 2009.

After successfully product-managing 6pm.com, a discount-driven deals site owned and maintained by Zappos, he moved to Atlanta and joined the Home Depot team for their dotcom initiatives.

Today he speaks publicly of his knowledge and experience in eCommerce and entrepreneurship as well as challenges while pursuing his dream in the United States as a Korean international.
