Catharina Min is the Office Managing Partner of the Silicon Valley office of Reed Smith. Reed Smith is an international law firm with 1,600 lawyers in 22 cities worldwide. Catharina practices corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions law with an emphasis in representing both US and international clients in mergers and acquisitions, private financings, joint ventures, strategic alliances, corporate partnering, securities offerings and other corporate transactions. She also represents emerging companies in general corporate matters and venture capital financings.

She has extensive experience representing Asian clients doing business in the US and Asia. She is fluent in Korean and has worked for 4 years as a Senior Foreign Lawyer at Shin & Kim in Seoul, Korea and works extensively with clients in Korea, including big conglomerates to start-up companies. Catharina is a frequent speaker on cross-border transactions and venture capital financings issues as well as women and minority mentoring topics. Catharina earned her JD (1990) and BA (1987) from the University of Virginia and was the editor of the Virginia Law Review.
