Rafael has over 16 years of consumer and B2B marketing experience including leading marketing for brands such as Napster, Amp’d Mobile, Edmunds.com and Disney. He’s also consulted for a number of firms including SugarSync, Zone Alarm by Check Point, and F-Secure.

Rafael Solis is currently the co-founder and CMO / SVP of Product at Braidio a cloud based enterprise collaborative learning platform. He is responsible for all product and go-to-market strategy. He has taken Braidio from a simple idea to serving Fortune 100 clients such as BBVA Compass, Toyota Financial Services and more.

Prior to Braidio Rafael was Vice President of Marketing at LicenseStream where he led all corporate and product marketing. There he led a strategic partnership with Arvato Finance, a division of Bertelsmann, which culminated in the launch of a global payments processing solution for media companies to monetize content on the Web.

Rafael’s other experiences include Vice President of Online at Amp’d Mobile where he was instrumental in launching a new product category, an MVNO focused on digital media and apps before the iPhone. As Director of Marketing at Napster, he led internal teams and agencies in the transition from pure brand marketing to direct response and performance-based efforts. This contributed to a four-fold increase in paid subscribers during his tenure.

His previous experience includes Edmunds.com where he created the marketing department from scratch significantly growing traffic and revenues. Previously, he spent several years at Disney honing his brand management, marketing and campaign analysis skills within the Buena Vista – Home Entertainment marketing group. Rafael has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Portland State University and an MBA from Pepperdine University
